COVID-19 IMPORTANT NOTICE
Such persons who have registered themselves with the Indian Consulate Erbil for repatriation to India due to COVID-19 situation are once again informed that:
1. The cost of travel, as specified by the government, will be borne by such travelers.
2. They would undergo mandatory institutional quarantine for a minimum period of 14 days on arrival in India, at their own cost, as per the protocols framed by the Government of India.
3. Priority will be given to compelling cases in distress, including migrant workers/labourers who have been laid off, short term visa holders faced with expiry of visas, persons with medical emergency/pregnant women/elderly, those required to return to India due to death of family member, and students.
4. At the time of boarding the flight, only asymptomatic passengers would be allowed to board the flight.
It may also please be noted that at this stage, special flight for Kurdistan Region has not yet been decided by the Government of India.
