To celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Quit India Movement on 9 August 2017 followed by the celebration of 70th Anniversary of Independence of India ‘India@70’ on the 15 August 2017, the Government of India has launched a series of activities and events starting with a pledge to create a ‘New India’.
